Hall of Heroes #2 - Michael Sutton

Here's the second episode of the Gamification Geek 'Hall of Heroes’ Epic Podcast! In this podcast I interview gamification experts from around the world and chat to them about their adventures in gamification.

In this episode I talk to Michael Sutton from Boise, Idaho, in the United States of America. Michael is a game-based learning innovator & architect, he is the chief gamification officer of FUNIFICATION LLC whose goal is to deliver 'funified; immersive learning and training experiences, he researchers virtual reality and augmented reality, and likes to call himself an 'edupreneur'.

We discuss what an edupreneur means, how universities should use play to make learning more engaging and how he wasn't very popular with more 'traditional' professors at university.

Note: There are a few minor static issues with the microphone in this episode when I talk, which isn't too often!
